What Is Your Reason For Learning French ?

Having and knowing the reason for learning French is really important for your success. Is it hobby, personal goal, dreams of living in a country where it is spoken, professional needs (job requirement)? Sometime people also wants to know the culture, movie, music, or even they just interested in it.

Whatever your reason is, wether big or small, you just have to know it. If you know your reason, you will always remember what got you started in the first place. The effect of having reason or motivation is that you will maintain your motivation and makes learning ambiance keep going on.

So, why is it important ? It is because your reason is directly related to your goal and succes. When you learn something new, you have to know your reason. You can’t reach certain level or goal if you even don’t have reason, because the reason or motivation helps to build learning ambiance. Sharing your reason with others is also another important thing. I don’t mean bragging goal ”fluent French in 5 months” but it is rather a real reason like ”I am learning because of this… that… etc”.

When you talk about your reason for learning with others, you remind yourself indirectly. It always be on top of your mind. Your friends now see you as someone who is actively learning French. That is another powerful motivator. Also, you convince yourself that you can and will learn the language.

In reality, a lot of people thinks that they can’t learn language, in this case it’s French. They think they don’t have time or talent. Actually, in reality, all you need is just the confidence to just start.  So, by sharing to others about your reason, you also convince yourself that you can do it.
